Who is the weathergal and what is this page about?
Well as the title already gives away, this page is about London and the weather.

This page was started in winter/spring 2007 with the view of reporting actual weather from London apart from consisting from a regular weather blog. Is there anything more regularly talked about than weather? Anything easier to talk about?

Finally I am almost ready to start reporting with my actual weather station, and I am very excited! Let us hope it works!

Apart from that, I try to bring you some facts about todays weather and the weather for this weekend. I am hoping that we will have some nice and sunny summer months in london this year, As there is nothing I would like to write about more than reef flip flops and beer chilling in mini fridges!! ;)

I am not only writing about present and future weather but also keeping a record of past weather. You can look up for example what the weather in london was like last week. Unfortunately I only started this database in March 2008 so as yet it is a little limited.

There is a section with interesting weather facts for kids, such as "how lighning gets formed", weather comics and jokes like the comic strip on tornadoes.

I try to write about weather events when they appear in the news or anything else that I find interesting or that you - either as a visitor or a Londoner yourself might find interesting.

I hope I am doing well, please let me know if you have any comments or suggestions!

About myself: I am 28 years old and live in Bethnal Green with my boyfriend and my cat! :)
