The London Weather Station

If you have had a look at this weekend’s weather forecast you will have seen that it is looking very rainy and wet. I am going to Field Day in Victoria Park on Saturday so I will be getting my rain-kit out. My beloved trusty Hunter Wellington boots served me well in Glastonbury and I am sure they will do the job tomorrow.

Luckily Field Day in Victoria is only a one-day festival which means that at the end of the day I will end up in my warm and most importantly dry bed at home. I am planning to eat lots of nice warm food and maybe take a flask – but probably they wouldn’t let me in with it.

Unfortunately it looks like the Mystery Jets will not be playing as the singer has fallen ill. I am very sad and wish him a speedy recovery! But there are other bands that I am looking forward to seeing: Most of all the fabulous and fantastic Fionn Regan who has wowed me once before - Laura Marling – Noah and the Whale – The Notwist and Lightspeed Champion.

Let us hope it does not rain too much and we get at least some rays of sunshine!
