Will climate change cause floods in London?

Currently I am thinking about purchasing a property with my boyfriend and one of the main questions facing us is where? I know houseprices are going down in the capital and all around the place, but we are not planning on buying to make a quick buck so we figure we should be ok.

A question that has been on my mind for some time is "what will the repercussions of the climate change be for London?" Will there be more flooding from the Thames? Will some parts of London be submerged under water all the time?

London is going to have a problem with see level.
New analyses suggest that this may rise as much as 10 feet when the Greenland ice cap melts.
(The world average 3 feet will be concentrated in the North Atlantic).
And I do not believe the world will do much to avoid this.
You may believe that a house will be safe if it is 10 feet above very high tide (plus storm surge) level.
But London may generally lose value if significant parts of it are subject to flooding.

River Thames as it looks now

The WWF fund have just published this article on the subject.

What is your opinion on the subject? Do you own a property near the river and are worried? Are there safe and unsafe parts of London? Let me know!
