The London Weather Station

Happy Monday dear visitors that are interested in the weather in London. The forecast for the next few days is best summed up in this Billie Holiday cover by Martha Wainwright:

And if you do not know what you should do with yourself in this miserable weather – I personally recommend watching a film either at the cinema or at home. Yesterday night I watched – I think it was on Channel 4.

That was much more pleasant than the constant drizzle that we endured on Saturday on Field Day. At the end of the night I looked like a wet poodle, despite all my efforts to stay warm. Maybe it is time to say goodbye to my long hair and opt for a haircut that is short and dries quick.

Apart from being bored with my long hair I want to get prepared for my holiday in Cornwall next week. I am planning on surfing so I am more concerned about the swell than the weather and I could not care less if it rains non-stop, but when you finally get out of the water it would be nice to get warm quickly – ergo short hair is the way forward.
