The Easter bunny brought snow!

Just a quick post to point out that this time my weather forecast was right - it did snow for a good part of the Easter weekend.

Luckily it stopped at the end of the public holiday and the commuter traffic in London resumed as per usual this morning.

Although the snow had brought some slight delays to some of the train networks and the repair works that were carried out over the weekend, there was no huge traffic chaos.

Even on the roads, although motorists suffered some minor delays in some areas, there were no reports of heavy traffic jams according to the Highways Agency.

Police had declared "horrendous" weather conditions on Sunday mornings and overnight temperatures hit -8°C - that is pretty cold for Easter!

Now we are set to expect some warmer weather towards the end of the week, but forecasters warn that the warmer weather will bring rain along... Hide your moonboots - it is time to bring out your umbrellas!
